Ace laughed at the comment of the pass and looked around then at himself, then started talking with laughter,

"I am death, death reborn, and I live here, well now I do, I see different from you and... well.. haha... I enjoy it here! But in truth I was here on a quest and hoping this young one could help me before you all came, haha"

(Hotshot runs up to ace striking him with his balloon long sword)

Ace gets bonked on the head the shutters down flailing his arms, yelling,

"WHAT THE!!!" Ace laughed with an angry face and looked around while rubbing his head, "Did you guys see that? I mean seriously..."

Ace sniffs the air and with a smirk he sighs, looks over into the direction of Ukimura though it is pitch black all around; he begins to speak loudly,

"HELLO OLD FRENEMY!!!" Ace laughs out

"Well, I do not know of you people... I am Orphen Lied... A wandering Mage who deals with the spells of the dead..."

(Thinks to self hmmm I wonder if they can handle this) summons 3 undead ghouls...

Ace sees the 3 new foes and he smirks. He laughs out and summons his blade,

"Let's do this!"

::stays behind group and fires off a lightning blast at one of the beasts::

Undead Ghoul= 155 hp

Lightning Bolt= 35 dmg + 15 atk (Soul's orb)= [-50 dmg]

Undead Ghoul= 155 hp - 50 dmg= 105 hp

[Kaityn Forestière]

"Haha! I see now!"

*My eyes light up and I strike at a different Undead Ghoul with the hidden blade being that it was a first attack*

Strike = [-45 dmg] + 20 atk= [-65 dmg]

*I use rolling dodge to be safe enough so that when the beast moves towards me, I can attack with her hidden blade once more*

[Monster AC1]

The Undead Ghoul against Orphen;

Takes hit and then rushes at him through the darkness and attacks,

Orphen= 150hp + 15def / Attack = [+45 dmg] - 15 def = [-30 dmg] to Orphen; Orphen = 120 hp

The Undead Ghoul against Kaityn;

Takes hit and then circles around Kaityn

The other Undead Ghoul joins to circle for it won't fight Ace and they both leap in for an attack,

Kaityn= 150hp + 15def / Attack = [+45 dmg]x2 - 15 def = [- 75 dmg] to Kaityn; Kaityn = 75 hp

Ace is shocked at the dismiss. He scoffs with disgust and looks at his mediocre blade. Finally he lunges at the beast with it's hp already affected by Kaityn and slashes with his own attack, The Fap

The Fap = [+120 dmg]/ Undead Ghoul = 90 hp - [120 dmg]= -30 hp

Undead Ghoul falls as Ace takes recoil of 60 hp, then with drain on blade, gains back 60 hp

Ace stands ready looking at the other Undead Ghoul

*Is hurt and pants, but smiles brightly when Ace kills one of the beasts and then attacks with a strike to the new monster, using hidden blade again*

Strike = [-45 dmg] + 20 atk= [-65 dmg]

Undead Ghoul (no def)= 155 hp - 65 dmg= 90 hp

::falls back and as doing so uses another lightning bolt::

Undead Ghoul= 105 hp - 50 dmg= 55 hp

One Undead Ghoul dies, no exp is awarded until all three are dead

The Undead Ghoul against Orphen;

Takes hit and then rushes at him through the darkness and attacks,

Orphen= 120hp + 15def / Attack = [+45 dmg] - 15 def = [-30 dmg] to Orphen; Orphen = 90 hp

The Undead Ghoul against Kaityn;

Takes hit and leaps back, then at Kaityn with an attack

Kaityn= 75hp + 15def / Attack = [+45 dmg] - 15 def = [-30 dmg] to Kaityn; Kaityn = 45 hp

::falls further, bleed a bit, gets up and as doing so uses yet another lightning bolt::

Lightning Bolt= 35 dmg + 15 atk (Soul's orb) + 5 additional atk (Soul's Orb's ability)= [-55 dmg]

((forgot all about the additional bonus and thus bring in another [-10 dmg]))

Undead Ghoul= 55 hp - 65 dmg total = -10 hp

Undead Ghoul defeated... ::gets up with no expression on face::

[Kaityn Forestière]

*Is hurt more, bleeds alot and pants much more, but still smirks, uses strike with a skinning knife*

Strike = [-45 dmg] + 15 atk= [-60 dmg]

Undead Ghoul (no def)= 90 hp - 60 dmg= 30 hp

*Tears form when death is around the corner*

[Ace Asuruka]

Ace yells out with much anger,

"ENOUGH!!!" Ace attacks the beast and kills it with a regular attack

Attack = [80 dmg]/ Undead Ghoul = 30 hp - [80 dmg]= -50 hp

Last Undead Ghoul falls to it's doom and Ace throws a Jerky at Kaityn, "EAT!"

Loses Mud-Turtle Jerky(1); owns 2 now

[Kaityn Forestière]

*Eyes wince and sees Ace kill the monster then throw the Jerky, and grabs it*

"Yes.. thank you!" *eats jerky happily and gains back health as Jerky says to, gains back [+150 hp]

*laughs and looks how the beasts have died and looks back at Orphen noticing his great power he holds within himself*

"Hehe.. wowsers!"

[Ace Asuruka]

Ace smiles and laughs, then looks at himself, pumps his arms, and speaks loudly,

"When I first was at this state! Only an additional 50 exp (or even more but who's counting) was added to my total, but I have killed 3 aqua beasts since then, making their deaths equal to 275 exp, making my total gauge raise to 325 (though I believe it was 370 but again it depends on how much I was awarded before as I rose to level 4) and now!" Points to the ground to the fallen foes, "How do I consume this power... exp is split for the two I killed along side with Kaityn? Hmm... Well I could think about myself but I need not to. but to only know I gained what I needed to! And yes, I do believe I am still in this state but I will grow much stronger!!!... Yet still 65 exp per monster may do at least these young ones good..."

Ace laughs some more then points to the way of Morte, "We need to get going..."

[Kaityn Forestière]

*laughs a little and runs out of the pass and into Morte's shop (awaiting transaction)*

"You talk alot old man!!!" *sticks out tongue and is exited*

[Orphen Lied]

::Looks at the two and coughs, then walks off with murmuring::

"I guess... I am going to stay with these two..."
