Personality: Sarcastic and cocky, Emi can be rather hard to get along with at times. She rarely ever takes anything seriously, and acts as if life is one big joke. She'll joke more often when she's feeling down or upset because she doesn't like for people to know how she's really feeling. She speaks her mind, and if she has a problem with you, she will not hesitate to tell you, with very specific details for her reasoning. She hates being wrong, and is very stubborn. She'll argue with you on a subject even when she knows she's wrong simply because her pride gets in the way. Emi is very rebellious and will often smart off to people who are supposed to be in charge. She hates people who demand her respect without giving her any reason to respect them, and unless they show her a reason, she won't respect them. Although she can be hard to get through to, once Emi has made a friend, she is ridiculously loyal and will stand by them no matter what. However, she has a hard time trusting people, so if someone betrays her, they don't get a second chance without proving themselves trustworthy again.
Background: Emi was born the middle child in a family of 3. Her older brother got angry rather easily and would often yell at Emi and their younger sister and their parents. He left when Emi was 15, though, and she hasn't really seen him since. Her younger sister was shy and reserved and mostly kept to herself, but she and Emi were friends despite their opposite personalities. Emi's parents treated them well enough, although Emi was often being punished due to her respectfulness. She eventually got tired of this and left home when she was eighteen. She didn't have anywhere to go, but she was too stubborn to go back home, so she wandered. She would sleep wherever she could find shelter, sometimes being forced to make it out of tree limbs and improvising in other ways. Emi is still a wanderer, but she stays in certain places longer now, rather than simply spending all of her time walking as she used to. She hasn't returned home, again out of pride and stubbornness, and hasn't contacted anyone in her family since she left home.
Weapons: Emi specializes in elemental magic, especially ice and water. Her most commonly used attack consists of freezing the water vapor in the air to create dagger-like ice shards, which she can throw at her enemies. She has excellent aim in this due to all the time she's had to practice while traveling.
