Update on Special Moves
Ok, so many of you are leveling up and I just wanted to clarify some new rules for you. They concern your level ups.
1) Every time you level up five times, (in other words, every multiple of five), you may increase the power of all your ORIGINAL moves by 10. Every single one of your unique moves is raised by 10. It's only 10 because you'll be equipping items that raise your attack anyways. We will be watching, so don't raise your attack by more than what it should be or we will have to nerf you.
2) Every time you level up five times, you have the option of creating an entirely new original move. That's right, one completely new move of whatever you want. However, you have a limit of five total special moves, so (in pure Pokemon style), you need to delete one of your other special moves to make a new move. This move does NOT get a 10 attack boost and is subject to the gods. Please PM of your new special move so I can tweak it according to your level.
3) These rules do not apply gods, BUT it does apply to Guild Leaders since they can be overthrown. Gods kinda do their own thing.

Re: Update on Special Moves
hey vatra is it okay if I follow these anyway just to be fair to the site?
Re: Update on Special Moves
True, I say Guild Leaders should, since they can be overthrown by normal members if they are defeated in a duel. Guild Leaders should still follow this.
Re: Update on Special Moves
actually ive been following normal character rules XD
and does this new ruling take place after this rule has been set in place or should people go back and adjust the power now?

Re: Update on Special Moves
Alright then. I'll edit this rule so that it applies to guild leaders to. And yes, if you have already passed level five you may increase your attack's power by 10 and make a new one if you wish.

Re: Update on Special Moves
so i should send it to you if I make one then?
and when you make ANOTHER ORIGINAL move then you have to get rid of one of your OTHER ones if you already have 5 originals, yes?

Re: Update on Special Moves
Ok, I'm level five. So if I make a new move, I'll first have to send it to you before actually making it on my profile right?

Re: Update on Special Moves
Ok, I leveled up my attacking moves but I have some questions about some moves that don't even inflict damage. I have quite a few of these so I'll just list them.
1) What happens to moves that heal yourself or others? Do those also go up by 10?
2) What about moves that affect offense/defense by a number? What happens to that number?
3) What happens to recoil of a move as you increase it's power? Does recoil go up as well?
Sorry if I'm being a hassle, but I really need to know what to do with, like, half my moves :P

Re: Update on Special Moves
1) Yes healing moves also go up by 10. Unless they were purchased and learned from a book at shop, then they remain the same as described in the book.
2) Stat-modifying moves can increase by 3 per level up.
3) Recoil grows in proportion to the attack power. For instance, if a move has an attack power of 20, and increases attack power by 10, and the original recoil was 10 damage, the recoil is now 15 damage.
20 (recoil 10) 1/2
+10 attack
30 (recoil 15) 1/2
